Anybody play Terraria?

Anyone get Terraria? For those who don't know it's a Minecraft inspired 2d game and its pretty fun so far. Maybe some of us could play multiplayer together

beat you to it. The biggest difference between minecraft and Terraria is this: In Minecraft, I place my pickaxe in my first slot for ease of use. In Terraria, that slot goes to my sword.

But yeah would you like to play multiplayer?

Sure, but the server will only be up when one of us is on.

It's fun but I doubt I'll keep playing it as long as minecraft. The combat is way better than minecraft imo.

I really like it, its different to minecraft though so I wish people would stop comparing it

I just tested it out today, and its really fun. (Torrented though). So my question is, how much did Steam version cost?

It surely does have the base of thought taken from minecraft, but the adventure part is so much more massive. Though since you still have you items on you when you die, I see no real challenge in it :s

It's 10USD (around 6 euros) on steam. Yes losing your items would prolong the games life a little, and ultimately it is similar to minecraft that most of the game will revolve around building.

I haven't built anything. I really think the adventure part is greater than in miinecraft, hence I do that. I just built some shit buildings housing the NPCs, nothing else really.
