Server Issues

I get an unknown server error connecting to the server. Is there an issue? or am i using the wrong IP (Im using
mc.tnw.co.cc )

that is the ip and you have been whitelisted. the server is up so i dont know whats wrong there. we re-whitelisted you just to make sure. keep trying!

is there a mod i need to install or something?

I keep getting the error, and when I ping the address, I get all reply's

there is no mods to install.
The ip is definitely the one posted on the forum..

My in-game name is britefire (no caps in it) did I misspell it on the application?

if you haven't already, you might try the original ip

thats exactly what weve typed in. are you sure your typing in the ip correctly? perhaps you havent updated your minecraft?

theip worked, but the name didnt, weird

worked for me perfectly... both that address. mc.tnw.co.cc, and the IP it self. when you type in the address, mc.tnw.co.cc , try typing it in rather than copy and pasting because most likely, you're addding an extra and unneeded space somewhere.
